Ha, this is why the internet is awesome... I just passed this very same Phantom Drophead Coupe in front of Reed College a couple of hours ago and we exchanged friendly "car guy" waves. I've also seen a Phantom sedan in the area as well, I wonder if it's the same owner?

There are quite a few Rolls Royces in Oregon. My friend said there are 5 where he is. There's one guy who owns a Phantom and a Murcielago.

I see older Rollers often, there's both a Silver Spirit/Spur sedan and a Corniche that also pass and wave regularly, but this DHC and the black Phantom are the only newer models I've seen in Portland, tho I don't doubt what your friend says one bit. I'm constantly surprised by the level of high end exotica in this area, do you think it's due to the tech and shoe companies being here? My buddy was telling me about the Nike executive lot, brimming with top end customized cars and one lady who runs a GT3 as her daily driver. I also saw one of those Astons in The Pearl on my way home after seeing the Phantom. When I lived in LA I recall seeing a Maserati MC 12 on Rodeo Dr. that had Oregon plates! It was in that beautiful white & blue livery.

I'm really not sure what the exotic drivers are doing, although it seems it is of variety. I used to always see a black F430 Spider in the morning heading towards Nike. I'm pretty sure they worked there.
